ABOUT

Mike George is an award-winning writer, and a Film and Commercial Director in Los Angeles. Currently, Mike is working with Big Picture Entertainment producing content for some of Hollywood’s biggest studios and networks. He has written, directed and produced commercials and promos for clients such as Sony, NBC/Universal, Fox, Coors, Purina, Adidas and more.

Mike is a multiple recipient of both Clio and Golden Trailer Awards. Most recently, Mike was awarded a Grand Clio for the Deadpool 2 campaign, as well as Best Original Trailer of the Year at the Golden Trailer Awards for Deadpool 2, and The Nice Guys. Additionally, Mike received Clios in the Creative Content category for Snowden and Deadpool, and the Annie digital campaign. He also directed Creativity Magazine's #3 Best Integrated Marketing Spot for Deadpool, and is a recipient of the Director's Choice Award at the North Hollywood Film Festival.

Previously, Mike was the Founder & Creative Director of Rec Room, an original content agency in Los Angeles, with clients including NetflixSony PicturesWarner Bros., and FX.

Mike began his career as a stand-up comic touring the United States and Canada, performing at the prestigious Just for Laughs Festival, and numerous other venues. He now also portrays an alternate version of himself as the host of the new comedy series The Vent. The Vent allows talent to promote their upcoming projects while simultaneously venting… in an air vent.
